Kim Delaney was an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is because of her part as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded the Emmy Award. She was born as the only child to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. In 2005, she lost the custody of her son.
